*Deads are light and unbroken every round. Burpees will slow you down, but intensity should stay high throughout workout as reps decrease and fatigue sets in. It should look like one consistenct pace throughout. Be careful with the deadlift form, as a light deadlift tend to bring out the turtle backs.
